Confirmation email includes payment details for your reservation.
Due to our booking terms you will have to pay 20% downpayment within a day from reservation.

If there is less than month when your reservation starts you have to pay whole amount at once.

Nestled on the very tip of a headland in Savoranta, the Niemenokka cottage (or “Tip of the Headland Cottage”) is a stunning, hand-sculpted log cabin offering incredible views and direct access to nature. As one guest, Jarkko, raved, they “had a wonderful and memorable holiday” there.

Cottage Features

The main cottage boasts four bedrooms, three furnished with a comfortable double bed and in one two single beds, accommodating up to eight guests. You’ll find a spacious lounge area, a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, two toilets, a utility room, and a shower room with two showers. The living room features cozy heated tile floors, while the bedrooms have laminate flooring.

Sauna and Outdoor Amenities

Closer to the beach, a separate sauna building awaits. It includes a traditional wood-fired sauna for an authentic heat experience. Warm water for washing is readily available from the sauna stove’s water container.

The sauna building also has an extra room with a bunk bed for two, a TV, and a heating stove. Right next to the sauna, a hot tub comfortably fits 4-6 people, with water supplied from the sauna via a hose and firewood from the woodshed.

After a relaxing sauna, you can cool off with a dip in Lake Saimaa from the pier. Be aware that the water near the pier is quite shallow. For a more gradual entry, a sandy beach and swimming area are also available, perfect for children due to their gentle slope.

Dining and Recreation

Enjoy outdoor cooking at not one, but two barbecue areas. A traditional wood-fired barbecue is located next to the sauna, while a gas grill can be found on the main building’s terrace.

For added fun, Niemenokka cottage also provides a swing and a dartboard.

Privacy and Policies

While the Ukkoteeri cottage is a nearby neighbor, both properties offer ample privacy for a peaceful getaway. Niemenokka cottage is non-smoking and pet-friendly, so your furry friends are welcome!

Outdoor Amenities & Recreation

You’ll find two barbecue options: a convenient gas grill on the terrace next to the main building and a traditional wood-burning grill near the sauna, perfect for that authentic smoky flavor. Firewood for this grill, and for heating the hot tub, is readily available in the woodshed.

For some fun and relaxation, there’s a wood-fired hot tub right by the sauna, comfortably fitting 4-6 people. You can also enjoy some friendly competition with the dartboard.

Water Activities & Children’s Play

Take to the water with the included rowboat, complete with three life vests for safety. For the little ones, there’s a classic swing and two spring swings to keep them entertained.

Kitchen

The cottage kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. You’ll also have a refrigerator with a freezer and a dishwasher for easy clean-up. Plus, there’s tableware for ten, so you’ll have plenty for everyone.

Bathroom and toilet

The main cottage includes two separate toilets: one individual toilet room and a larger bathroom equipped with two showers, its own toilet, and a washing machine for your convenience.

Sauna

Located right on the shoreline, you’ll find a spacious traditional Finnish sauna designed for 4-9 people. This isn’t just for sweating it out; you can also wash yourself within the sauna building.

The sauna building also includes a cozy separate room with a bunk bed for two, a stove for warmth, and a 32″ TV. Plus, there’s a small terrace right outside, perfect for cooling off or enjoying the lake view.

Living room, dining and bedrooms

The main cottage boasts a spacious and open-plan living room, dining room, and kitchen, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The living area is furnished with two comfortable sofas and two low sofa benches, perfect for relaxing while enjoying the 55″ Smart TV.

There are four bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed, a small storage space, and a mirror. All bedrooms feature melamine flooring, while the rest of the main building enjoys the comfort of tiled and heated floors.

Sleeping Arrangements

In total, the main cottage offers sleeping for eight guests across its three double bedrooms and one with two single beds. Additionally, the separate sauna building provides an extra sleeping spot with a bunk bed for two.
